Jason H. Raasch

Jason H. Raasch, 40, of Lecanto, Florida passed away May 17, 2013. A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he came to the area in 2004. Jason enjoyed working as a landscaper and skilled mason and creating custom designs for Munro Landscaping and Bush Home Services. He was most recently employed at Ellie Schiller Homosassa Wildlife State Park. He is survived by his parents William and Eunice Raasch of Beverly Hills, Florida, his brother Christopher of Durango, Colorado, his aunt Bunny Raasch-Hooten, and his cousin Joshua Hooten.

Jason was a Christian and loved his family and friends, nature, all living creatures, and expressing his talents in art and photography. Our beloved Jason was pure sunshine. His beautiful smile, twinkling eyes, and warm greetings lit up every room he entered. The world has lost a gentle and kind soul with a huge heart whose only purpose was to help everyone.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Florida with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM and continuing until the service at 12:30. A Celebration of Jason’s Life will follow in the Florida Room on the first floor at the Homosassa Wildlife State Park, 4150 Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa, Florida 34446.
