Crofton is survived by his mother; Prudence Highfield, his wife; Sandra Highfield (nee Pereira), his children; Sydel Highfield, Shayne Highfield (Jennifer) and Samara Piez (Clayton), His grandchildren; Britney, John, Leilani, Cassidy, Emme and Chase, his brothers; Ransdel (Maria), Ainsley (Julie), Elton (Wendy), and Elvin (Sherry). He was predeceased by his father; Ivan Highfield.
Crofton was born in Karachi, Pakistan on September 5th, 1954 to (Late) Ivan Highfield and Prudence Highfield. He attended St. Paul's English High School and later married Sandra Highfield (nee Pereira); a Secretary, on September 5th, 1979. They welcomed their 3 children Sydel, Shayne and Samara on July 31st, 1980; March 25th, 1982 and January 18th, 1991; respectively.
Crofton was a Sports enthusiast. However, Cricket was his passion. He played cricket for KGA (Karachi Goan Association) and he captained the team for many years. He loved music and also played guitar in a band. Crofton was a hard worker. He dedicated most of his working career at the American Embassy Commissary, in Karachi. He worked his way up the ranks to Commissary Manager, until his move to the United States in 1993. In the U.S. he worked for several corporations, and finally co-owning a successful restaurant business with his wife, in Dunnellon, Florida.
Crofton was a jokester by nature, and loved making people laugh with his off color jokes. He loved life to the fullest and enjoyed it in his own stubborn way. He would never hesitate to aid anyone in their time of need and went above and beyond to do so. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
You may pay your respects at a public viewing on Monday, January 22nd, 2024, at 11 am, at Fero Funeral Home, located at 5955 N Lecanto Hwy, Beverly Hills, FL 34465. The funeral service will follow thereafter, at 12 noon.
