Virginia L Brown

Virginia Louise Brown passed away at home on January 2, 2024 at the age of 89. Virginia was born October 6,1934 in Barber Co, KS to John Jacob and Winifred Elizabeth Robinson. She moved from Kansas in 1957, shortly after marrying Dwight Brown. Virginia enjoyed her job as a homemaker for many years. After her husband passed away, she went to work at the Bethany Children’s Home and was there for 17 years. She was a crafter, enjoyed reading romance novels and doing crossword puzzles. Her family was her greatest joy and she loved spending time with them all. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dwight Brown and son, Dennis Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Alena Castillo, son, Mike Brown and wife,Glenda, sister, Lucille Webb,7 grandchildren,17 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Virginia will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Bill Merritt Funeral Service followed A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 2:00 PM, 6201 Northwest 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008. A graveside service will occur Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Bethany Cemetery, N Rockwell Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
