Steven Alexander Carithers passed away on June 2, 2024 at his home in Oklahoma City at the age of 66. Steve was born in Oak Park, IL to David C. and Ada (Pawly) Carithers. Steve lived in OKC most of his life and was a 1976 graduate of Putnam City High School. He started Statewide Compliance,a gas line compliance service in 2005 thru 2019. Later in 2019 it became ACE Testing Company. Steve enjoyed dirt track racing and raced at the OKC fairgrounds for several years and he was an avid sports fan, especially anything OU. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada Cumminskey. Steve is survived by his father, David of OKC, sister, Terry Miller and husband, David of Newcastle, step-daughter, Sarah Johnson of Mustang and Sarah's mother, Kathy Johnson, nephew, Dillon Miller and his wife, Anja, nieces, Jessica Miller, Jennifer Brown and husband, Ron and Jamie Baker and husband, Brandon, 6 great nieces and nephews, his best friend Sherrie Santoyo as well and many other friends.
