Mary Ann Jones

Mary Ann Jones was born on January 19, 1943 in Strong City, Kansas at the Stubenhofer Maternity Home. Mary Ann went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 8th, 2011 after a brief but mighty battle with brain cancer while residing at Epworth Villa in Oklahoma City. Mary Ann was the daughter of Gail and Mary Hastings. Mary Ann is survived by S.M. Sullivan, of Oklahoma City with whom she shared her life with for over 20 years; children Carolyn Hansing, Edmond, Oklahoma and Michael Jones of Oklahoma City; son-in-law, Rick Hansing, grandchildren, Jack and Lilly Hansing; brother and sister- in law, Marion and Arlene Hastings, Austin, Texas; niece, Eugenia Hastings, Austin, Texas; nephew, Scott Hastings, Arizona. Mary Ann dedicated her life as a care-giver taking care of the sick and elderly and will be greatly missed by many. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, December 13th at 10:00 a.m. at Crossings Community Church Chapel, 14600 North Portland Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The family would like to thank Dr. Benjamin White, Quality of Life Hospice and the staff at Epworth Villa, and a special thanks to Dr. Bob Remondino for his gracious attention to personal detail and care for Mary Ann.
