Margaret Rutherford

Margaret K. Rutherford 83, passed away on April 19, 2015 in Oklahoma City. Margaret was born in Meridian, Mississippi to the union of Freeman H and Callie Estelle (Lovett) Jones on July 28, 1931. She is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and 2 brothers and grandson Henry Ben Weatherly.

Margaret was a member of Linn Avenue Pentecostal Church and was a great mom, wife, daughter, and grandma. She helped feed the homeless breakfast for about a year. She worked as a cashier in gas stations along with raising her family with Walt.

She leaves to cherish the memories of her life, her husband; Walter Lavern Rutherford of Oklahoma, children; Linda (Paul) McQuade of Skiatook, Laverne (Keith) Cowger of Oklahoma, Walter (Chrissa) Rutherford of Sparks, Tonya (Paul) Meixner of Oklahoma City and Kelley (Joe) Luecht of Yukon. Twelve grandchildren; Robert Weatherly, Christie Sinicke, Pat (Sandra) McQuade, Joey (Carrie) Ledbetter, Nancy Reel, Troy Moore, Amber (Jeff) Thomas, Mason, Logan and Joseph Luecht. Great-grandchildren; Nathan, Kiley, Emilea, Cayden and Braydon Ledbetter, Jessica and T.J. Sinicke, Arelia and Savannah McQuade, and Summer and Daniel Weatherly.

Visitation will be Friday, April 24, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with funeral services Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bill Merritt Funeral Service, 6201 Northwest 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK.
