Linda M. Manning

Linda Mae Manning, was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 25, 1947, to William R. and Etta Manning. Linda Mae went to be with her Savior on March 16, 2010. Linda Mae spent her childhood in Ada, Oklahoma, later moving to Oklahoma City, Linda attended OSU and began teaching school upon graduating. After retiring from teaching she helped her mother run the family business, Etta's Gift Gallery. In recent years, Linda was a loving caregiver to her stepfather Jim Persons and mother Etta Persons. Linda Mae is preceded in death by her father William Ray Manning and stepfather James Persons, stepbrother Mike Persons as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her brothers Billy Manning and his wife Maryann, Dean Manning and wife Beth, niece Leisha Lee, husband Tony and their daughter Kayla, nephew Jason Manning & wife Dana, nephew Justin Manning and wife Lindsey, niece Jenna Manning, step-brothers David Persons and wife Deb, John Persons and wife Jo, step-sisters Kathy Osborne and husband Tim, and Cam Husted and husband Tom, step-niece Bonnie McKenzie and husband Brad. Linda Mae will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm at Church of the Savior on Friday, March 19, 2010.
