Lee Ann Towell went to live with her heavenly father on Thursday, July 4, 2024. She was born January 7, 1933 in Gracemont, OK to Hubert (Mike) and Attice Shook. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She and her family spent many wonderful times together at their lake house and traveling. She enjoyed studying the Bible, traveling, working puzzles, playing cards with friends and enjoying life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her daughter, Davette Ivy; granddaughter Rachelle England and spouse; two great-grandchildren, Jordan England and Olivia England and two great-great-granddaughters, Kassidy England-Vaughn and Baylee Vaughn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Attice Shook; husband of 40 years, Dale Towell; sister, Wilda Jean Coon; son, Tony Walker and one great granddaughter, Miranda Ivy.
A visitation will be held at Bill Merritt Funeral Home, Bethany, OK on Monday, July 8th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Services to celebrate her life will be on 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 in the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel in Bethany, OK, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens
