Judith Ann Clifft was born August 27, 1944 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Hiram and Rachel Stell. She passed from this life April 23, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Judy was the 4th and understandably the last child. Judy’s siblings were Sidney (Bubba), Mary (Sister) and Jerry. Judy graduated from Shawnee High School in 1962 and was a member of the National Honor Society. Judy worked at TG&Y while in High School and two summers at the Oklahoma Tax Commission. In 1963 she started working for Family Loan & Thrift, Thiokol Chemical Corporation, and Blackwell Burner Company in Shawnee before moving to Oklahoma City in 1965. She started in September of 1965 at Aero Commander, a division of Rockwell International. She worked at Aero Commander 11 years where she met and married Edward Clifft in 1966. In 1971 they had a son, Stephen. In 1976 she was hired by Xerox Corporation in Cost Accounting. On January 2, 1979, she began working at General Motors Assembly in Oklahoma City. She was in Cost Accounting for 17 years, then on to Payroll and General Accounting before transferring to Material Department as a Material Coordinator in Purchasing. Judy retired July 31, 2006 after 27 years. She was active in the community as a member of the Mustang Planning Commission, the Mustang Board of Adjustment and a charter member of the Mustang Quarterback Club. Judy loved reading mysteries, decorating her home, and working in her yard. She had an antique booth from about 2010 to 2017. Judy loved Boston Terriers and had four she adored; Tiffy, Missy, Molly and Tipper. Judy was preceded in death by both her parents and siblings Jerald, “Bubba” and “Sister”. Judy is survived by her son Stephen, daughter-in-law Angie, granddaughters Allison Grace and Kathryn Elizabeth. Ally and Katy were very much loved and adored by Juju. Judy also leaves behind an extended family, Linda Stell Smith, her daughter Tera Bisbee and granddaughter Katelyn Bisbee, Trudy James Lowell, Bobby Hamilton, Scott (Scotty) Uselton, Laurie and Roger Matthews and their daughter Heather and husband Brett, John and Mike Tipps.
