Surrounded by her family, Johnnye Faye Stephens, 89, went to the Lord March 16, 2020 in Oklahoma City. She was born in Fryeburg, LA, the last of fifteen children to Sidney and Rose Etta Ryan. Johnnye graduated from Ringgold High School, Ringgold, LA, later moving to Oklahoma City where she met and married Richard W. Stephens, who proceeded her in death in 2014. Johnnye worked for SOHIO Petroleum Company in Oklahoma City for almost thirty years as a Receptionist and Administrative Clerk. Following retirement Johnnye operated her own catering business for twenty five years. She was a Worthy Matron in the Masonic Order of Eastern Star and was called “Mom Johnnye” as Mother Advisor of Rainbow for Girls Assembly. Survived by her sister Mattie Ford (age 91) of Minden, LA, daughter Barbara Holden and son-in-law Terry, grandchildren Gray Holden and wife Tiffany, Tiffany and husband Shane Johnston, and great-grand children Braxton, Graycen, Emerson, Caleb and Payton. Daughter Rose Chambers and son-in-law Mark, grandchildren Jessica and Ryann, and great-grand children Emma Rose, Ryder, Malachi and Adonis. Son Garry Stephens and daughter-in-law Kim, grandchildren Sumer and husband Jeffrey Melton, Lane, Shelby, and great-grand children Taylor, Aubrey and Samuel.
