Jerry Rouse, 69, was born on December 4, 1942 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He passed away on March 31, 2012. He moved to Hobart in 1953. Jerry played football, basketball and baseball at Hobart High School and met his wife, Cherry. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1960 to 1963.The family moved to Yukon, Oklahoma in 1971. Jerry is survived by his wife, Cherry Rouse of Yukon, OK; daughter, Terri Lowery and husband Rick of Oklahoma City; granddaughter, Terra Wiles and great granddaughter, Mikayla Wiles of Yukon; son, Gerry Rouse and wife Tracey of Edmond; granddaughter, Amber Rouse of Edmond; daughter, Kerri Orman and husband Tim of Yukon; his two sisters, Virginia Liles of McCloud and Mary Baxter of Hobart; and a host of extended family members, who like Jerry, enjoyed the family reunions filled with great food, games and lots of love. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Earl and Elva Rouse; brothers, Delbert Gene Rouse and Elbert Belton Rouse; sisters, Imogene Rouse, Lucille Briggs and Claudene Jones. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 6, 2012, at the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel.
