Jerry Louis Pyron

Jerry Louis Pyron, 72, Weatherford, TX, passed away on November 11, 2023. Mr. Pyron was born May 7, 1951, in Poteau, OK, the son of Jewell and James Pyron. He resided in Edmond, OK, before moving to Weatherford, TX. Jerry graduated from Oklahoma Christian University and the University of Central Oklahoma with two college degrees and a CPA. He was loyal to his favorite teams: the Poteau Pirates, Oklahoma State football and baseball, the Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Cardinals. He loved to read, rock and roll music, and vintage cars – hot rods. Most of all Jerry loved his family and friends. He had the gift of talking to and connecting with everyone he met. He is survived by his wife, Rita Pyron, of Weatherford, TX; his son, Jerod Pyron, of Keller, TX; and daughter, Megan Pyron, of Los Angeles, CA; one brother, Jim Pyron and two sisters, Jan Gamble and Jeanne Bachlor all of Neosho, MO.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Bill Merritt Funeral Memorial Chapel at 6201 NW 39th Expy, Bethany, Oklahoma.
