Kaye held several secretarial like jobs over the years, including working for her husband, Max Rogers, at his construction company. She eventually migrated to the insurance business for the majority of her work life, eventually settling with Kelly Hudleson at Universal Insurance/MHA/NFP until her retirement at age 70.
She faced tremendous obstacles throughout her life, but her positivity and fun-loving personality carried her through the darkest days. Early in her life, she loved to paint and even did some commission pieces. Outside of that, people were her thing. If you gave Kaye a crowd, she could tell jokes for hours. She loved to sing and entertain for anyone that would listen.
Her bright and shining smile and laughter will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Gene Hubbard (1977) and Max Rogers (1994).
She is survived by her best friend and daughter, Carrie Cox and husband Gary; granddaughters, CaSandra Cox and Alexandra Arellano and husband Brighton; as well as many, many friends.
Visitation will be 1pm-3pm Sunday at Bill Merritt Funeral Service.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3pm Monday, March 1, 2021 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service and streamed live on Facebook @BillMerrittFuneral.
