Francel was born and raised in Oklahoma, only leaving as she pursued her career and calling for teaching children to Oahu, Hawaii, El Paso, Texas, Aberdeen and Havre de Grace Maryland with her military spouse who preceded her in death. She was active in her churches and communities no matter where she went. A woman of deep faith, generous nature, sweet disposition and a heartfelt care for her family, this is Francel. She returned to Oklahoma after retirement to care for her mother, and did so with steadfast devotion. Her most recent congregations were the Linwood United Methodist Church and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. We, her family, are honored and gifted by her presence on this earth, We’ll never forget her radiant smile, her quick laughter, her touch of encouragement or her strength of character. She was and is a Teacher to us all and we thank God for the lessons she has shared with us.
Farewell Dear One! Or as she would say: Ta Ta for now & Toodle Ooh!
