Carolyn M. Prigmore, cherished wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend was born on June 2nd, 1947 in Tulsa, OK and was welcomed home by her Savior, to be with her beloved husband, on July 6th, 2024.
Carolyn lived a full life, giving her all in every job she held and serving others wherever she went. She was dedicated to her beloved Brian and to being the best wife, mom, and Mema she could be. Carolyn had an adventurous spirit and an insatiable desire keep learning and experiencing new things, encouraging others, and continuing to grow. She loved her family, loved her church, and loved her friends from around the world.
Her sparkling blue eyes shined the brightest when she was with those she loved, whether traveling the world with Brian and the kids, connecting with her family, playing cards and scrapbooking with friends, loving children through children’s ministry, or serving at the local potluck to help someone in need. She was an artist at her core and used those gifts to bless those around her. Some of her many talents included painting, playing the piano, playing the organ, singing in the choir, playing in the bell-choir, knitting, crochet, and cross-stitch.
Carolyn’s faith was at the core of every breath she took. She started and ended every day with her quiet time with God. Her Bibles and Course in Miracles books were well worn, and she prayed with a fervent belief for all those she held dear. If you were blessed to be held by her as family or friend, you can know that she prayed for you and you can rest assured that she is with her Father in Heaven, now. We grieve for our loss, while we rejoice for her gain!
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Harold “Bud” Marr and Frances Boyd; the love of her life, Brian Prigmore, her brother Gerald Marr, beloved stepdaughters, Lena Michelle and Katherine Lee, and her great-granddaughter, Kamberlynn Niccole. What a joyous reunion she has had!
Carolyn is survived by her sisters Cathleen Goodine and husband Guy, Janice Marr, daughter Dawn Christine, son Rush Allan, cherished grandchildren, Payge Nichole, William Lee and his wife Raelea, Michael Sean, her bonus grandchildren, and great grandchildren, many beloved cousins, and precious nieces and nephews.
God is good and we are thankful ❤️
