Cheryl grew up In Grandview graduating from Grandview High School in 1975. She worked for Pride Cleaners for many years as a plant manager. Later in life, following her passion for any and all animals, she became an animal control officer with the City of Raymore until her retirement. The biggest loves in her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After retirement her favorite pastime was spending time with them, watching them grow and spoiling them.
Cheryl leaves behind her daughters Lana Burgess and Shelby Ulses both residing in Belton, MO; her twin sister Terri (Scott) Wheeler of Peculiar, MO, sister Debbie (Steve) Aduddell of Grandview, MO, brother Wayne Hunter of Corpus Christi, TX, Uncle Larry (Jan) Hall of Belton, MO, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Cheryl will be dearly missed.
There will be a private family gathering at a later date. The family requests donations in Cheryl’s honor to the Susan G. Komen foundation or any animal rescue/shelter of your choosing.
