Jose is survived by his spouse, Beatrice Diaz; his mother Eufrosina Irra and his father Eduardo Mendoza.

Jose will be laid to rest in Panteon de la Localidad , De San Jeronimo de Juarez, Municipio de Benito Juarez, Benito Juárez, Guerrero.
