Peter Jeffrey Olund, age 28, of Seattle, passed away on May 7, 2018. Beloved son of Barbara M. Olund and Jeffrey (Silvia Furia) Olund. A summa cum laude graduate of Seattle University with a degree in political science, Peter was a talented paralegal and former legislative intern. He had plans to attend law school.
Among Peter’s gifts he was a talented drummer and musical composer. Intelligent, funny, witty, sensitive, kind, he was a friend to everyone, always.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul G. and Helen M. Molloy, and paternal grandmother Jane Olund. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandfather Kurt Olund and step-sister, Luiza Furia, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service honoring Peter’s life will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 in the chapel at Sunset Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Bellevue, WA. Cremation and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gray Wolf Ranch, P.O. Box 102, Port Townsend, WA 98368, or to the charity of your choice.
