Patricia Anne (Crites) Lipon of Scottsdale, Arizona, left this life on December 31st, 2022. Born May 19, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan she was the eldest daughter of Chesley J. & Agnes (Murphy) Crites.
She was the beloved wife of John J. Lipon, DO, and mother of Kelly and the late John Reilly, the late John Lipon II, Randall and Jennifer Robichaud, Todd and Jodi Lipon, and Robert Robichaud. Loving grandmother of Melanie and John Reilly, Alexis and Connor Robichaud, Riley and Piper Lipon, and Madison, Dominic, and Madelyn Robichaud. Dear sister of Thomas, Laurence, Donald Crites, Theresa Hudson & Lorraine Gradis, and many nieces & nephews.
Patricia was a graduate of Oakland College in Michigan receiving a degree in nursing. Her career spanned 45 years beginning at Martin Place Hospital in Michigan. She also worked many years with her husband John in his orthopedic practice in Seattle, Washington. For 12 years prior to her retirement in 2016 she taught and was on faculty in the Nursing Department at Bellevue College in Bellevue, Washington. She concurrently worked at Overlake Hospital, Bellevue, Washington on the IV Team having achieved Certified Registered Nurse in Infusion credentialing. Patricia also attended the American Academy of Interior Design in Seattle where she received a degree in Residential Design in 1985.
She enjoyed needlework design, reading, cooking, entertaining, playing Mahjong, and traveling the world with her wonderful husband. However, her most valued time was spent enjoying her precious family. Holidays & special occasions with them brought her perfect joy.
Patricia was a gentle, loving, intelligent, organized woman with a good sense of humor. She would like you to remember her as having had a wonderful life. Her role as daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and nurse was simply the best. Patricia loved her husband John so dearly; they were the best of companions during their long marriage.
A private burial will be conducted, and she will be interred in the mausoleum at Sunset Hills, Bellevue, Washington. A memorial service will be held at Overlake Golf & Country Club, Medina, Washington at a later date to celebrate her life, well lived.
