She graduated from Beaver Falls High School class of 1967, the same school her parents graduated from 20 some years before her. Marsha always aspired to become an RN, which happened in 1970 after graduating from Pittsburgh’s St. Margaret’s school of Nursing. Her love of caring for sick children was a perfect match for a career at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. Moving to Pittsburgh, she married Leonard Robert Stevens on June 3, 1972. They had two children Heather Lynn (1976) and Bradley Ross (1982 - 2007). Leonard's jobs had the Stevens travel the country, Pittsburgh to Chicago, to New Jersey then finally to Seattle.
Growing up, Marsha enjoyed playing wiffle ball with her Brother, Dave, and the boys in the neighborhood. Summer recreation and Marilyn and Patti Petri, exposed her to tennis which led to a lifelong love of the sport. Enjoying softball in the summers kept her busy.
Thanks to her Dad, she saw The Beetles in Pittsburgh and then with a friend in Cleveland.
Marsha was an avid sports fan always following the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears and Seattle Mariners and Seahawks.
Marsha Lee, who was residing in Bellevue, WA, is preceded in death by her Grandparents: John and Esther Clotti, parents Leon F Ross and Genevieve (Ciotte) Ross, Paula Sue (Ross) McCain (50 years old) Hopewell and son, Bradley Ross Stevens (24 years old) of Bellevue, WA.
Left to cherish her memory are Leonard Stevens, her brother, David John Ross of Beaver Falls, PA, and her daughter, Heather Lynn Hansen, son-in-law, Ryan Dean Hansen and three handsome grand boys Spencer Ryan (23 years old), Ashton Ryan (20 years old) and Ryan Bradley (14 years old), whom she adored.
She will be remembered for her pleasant disposition, generosity and genuine love for everyone she met.
PS; Marsha wrote her own obituary recognizing her serious medical diagnoses.
