My son, Alex, had the honor of being one of Emily's classmates the past two years and says that he misses her.  She was always so kind and patient with him.  I also had the pleasure to work with her in our small groups in Kindergarten last year and to see her bright smile this year as well.  She is very much missed by everyone.  We are so sorry for your loss.

I started out as just a neighbor six years ago to Emily and her family,  and have since become friends over the years. Emily was just a baby when they moved in. Watching Emily grow up with so much love, it was absolutely inspiring.! Alena, Vitali, Olga and Emily did everything together as a family, there was so much fun, joy and laughter. Emily loved riding her bike, roller skating, playing in the snow, playing with her cat, but I think her favorite thing was playing with her sister Olga. What an awesome older sister to Emily, they were so special together. Emily was an extraordinary gift to her family and she will be forever missed and in our hearts.

My son Connor had the pleasure of being in kindergarten with Emily. Every time I volunteered in their class, Emily’s joy and light was undeniable. She was hard working, focused, and confident. Her and Callie’s giggles together were infectious. We are so very sorry for your loss. She will be forever missed by the entire Woodridge community.  

Emily is so dearly missed and loved. Callie and Emily are best friends and Callie has been lost without her at Woodridge. We pray daily for her and her family. Emily and Callie shared so many giggles and had the ability to make each other laugh continuously. Woodridge will not be the same without her. Callies misses her so much and said she was like a sister. 

Sweet Emily...You are so loved! At school, you were a bright light to all your friends, teachers, and really anyone who came in contact with you.  Thank you for being in our lives and teaching us love, hard work, and true acceptance! 
Emily was in our 1st Grade class this year, she has left a missing piece in our hearts and we miss her every moment. Thank you to her family for sharing this incredible child with us, she was a true gift! My life is forever changed having known Emily. 

Our sweet Emily was a loved and special member of our Eagle Club at Woodridge. She was confident and helpful and loved sharing stories of her time away from school. Emily was always eager to share her ideas and welcomed and supported new students at Woodridge. We miss her so much. 

I was Emily’s library teacher for her years at Woodridge. She was a joy to teach!  She loved learning and loved books. I will always remember this very social little girl!

As a new member of the Woodridge community, Emily was always warm and greeted me anytime she saw me. She was a natural at connecting with peers and helping them in any way she could. She was always happy, smiling and made others feel safe and cared for. Her classmates and friends expressed their sadness for the loss of their peer, but they also shared they would miss their friend because of the reciprocal care and fondness there was between them. She will be missed in our community, but not forgotten.

Emily was cheerful, fun, kind and a great friend. I had the honor to watch her confidence grow as a kindergartener and into first grade. In kindergarten, she always worked hard on assignments, made beautiful drawings, laughed with friends, and helped her classmates. She loved to build houses with blocks and magna-tiles, draw pictures – especially cats, read books to stuffed animals and play with her friends. Whenever I saw her at school this year she gave me a huge smile and enthusiastic wave and said hello. She was a special girl and I will miss her dearly.
