Our beloved father, Patrick died peacefully on July 27, 2021 in Issaquah, Washington at the age of 92. He was born on April 17, 1929, in Seattle, Washington, the only son of Fred and Ivy Drury. He graduated from Lakeside High School in Seattle, and then attended Whitman College. He served our country in the Air Force from 1950 - 1954 as an Airman Second Class.
He met, fell in love, and married Lucy Henley in 1955. They had two girls, Lani and Pamela. As long time Kirkland residents they lived in the same house for over 50 years. Lucy and Pat had a brief but enjoyable "cameo" in the movie "Sleepless in Seattle" dancing in the ballroom during the New Years Eve party scene. They really enjoyed travelling and visited many states and countries including Spain and Portugal. They loved to play golf & tennis, go ballroom dancing, and socializing with their many friends. They were "snowbirds" and loved going to Palm Springs every year during their retirement where they enjoyed the sunshine, tons of golf, and many relaxing days by the pool. They had 60 (Wow!) wonderful years together before Lucy passed away in February of 2016.
We will miss him terribly, but it is a comfort to know that he will be reunited with Mom and our heavenly Father. There are so many wonderful memories of our Dad that we will always treasure. He was an amazing father and he lived a great life!
Patrick is survived by his daughters, Lani Dodge and Pamela Eidukas, and also his 18 year old granddaughter, Maya Jacqueline Eidukas.
