A devoted Christian and a loving father, Brian lived a life of faith, purpose and service to others. His legacy will be cherished by all who knew him, especially his beloved family.
Born on September 18, 1985 in Hong Kong, Brian developed a passion for technology from a young age. After earning a degree in engineering from the University of Toronto, he moved to Seattle to work at Microsoft where he turned his childhood passion into a lifelong career.
Brian was a devoted husband and father. His greatest joy came from spending time with his sons Caleb and Anders, nurturing their growth, and sharing his love for God and life with them. His family was the heart of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to his professional and parental roles, Brian found joy in serving others and being involved in his church community, hosting fellowship meetings and social gatherings. His humility, hospitality and dedication to his faith were reflected in everything he did.
Brian is survived by his wife Sandy, his two children, his parents Mei Mui and Kui Leung Fung, and his brothers Gary and Henry Fung. He will be remembered for his faith, his kind and gentle spirit, and the unconditional love he showed to his family and friends. Though we mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A memorial service will be held for Brian on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11am, at the Sunset Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to School Connect Washington (www.schoolconnectwa.org), a non-profit organization that was very important to Brian and his family.
