I watched Abe interact with the parents, leaders, and members of the Boy Scouts troop my son joined. Abe was so enthusiastic about every event and was so respectful at each meeting. Abe was a wonderful role model for both younger and older Scouts. I will remember Abe’s enthusiasm. 

Sharing in your sadness as you remember Abraham. Please know your family is in my heart and thoughts. 


	In memories we want them to be peaceful. We know Abraham best as a young boy maybe 2 or 3. On one visit to their home were camped in the front yard with the kids coming and going to our motorhome and playing with our dog small Eddy.
 	He said to his Mom, can we get Eddy a toy. I though he was very young to speak in such full sentences. That toy sure made Eddy happy.
	Sorry but we missed him for too many years as we lived a long ways apart. His Dad has told us about those great parts.
	We will be there with the Lord in the coming days to see him off to an eternal resting heaven.

Abe was a great friend. I mostly knew him through Boy Scouts, which he was a lot better at than me. He was funny, empathetic, and extremely smart. He always took the time to his friends and younger scouts cool, new things. I will miss him and all of those camping trips we spent adventuring and learning with each other, a lot. 

One of my favorite memories of him was firing a potato cannon with him at Ft Casey. I can’t forget the yelling and excitement of that day. Me, Abe, and a few others went to one of the fortifications overlooking the sea with his potato cannon, some hairspray, and a few potatoes. After a lot of arguing and confusion on how best to launch a potato, we tested the cannon. After multiple failed attempts we got it to work. Abe looked proud that the potato managed to splash into the water below. The whole time Abe was filled with energy, directing us and providing morale support. That’s how I remember Abe, a bright young man bursting with energy and wonder.

Abe was a funny, respectable guy, went to middleschool with me, and was one of the few people who treated me with kindness and dignity. He was a valued friend and a kind soul, I will miss and remember him.
