Terrylee B. Rayburn, nee Sauerwein, 65, of Belleville, Illinois, born February 25, 1955, at Donaldson Air Force Base, Greenville, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Belleville, Illinois.
Terrylee was the owner and operator of Custom Nail Design in Belleville, Illinois for 36 years. She dedicated much of her time, over two decades to the Girl Scouts of America as a troop leader. She was very creative, making jewelry and other arts and crafts. She was an amazing cook and was especially known for her blue ribbon winning pies at the county fair. She enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her by her son, Dennis Hoffmann, in infancy; her parents, Kenneth E. and Annalee I., nee Hardt, Sauerwein; her maternal grandparents, Leon and Annie, nee Ketterer, Hardt; and her paternal grandparents, Oliver and Katherine, nee Skaer, Sauerwein.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Daniel Rayburn, of Belleville, Illinois, her sons, Bryan Hoffmann and Aaron (Katherine) Hoffmann, both of Belleville, Illinois; her step-children, Todd (Beth Argo) Rayburn, Travis Rayburn, and Troy (Andrea Mabe) Rayburn; her grandchildren, Nora Marie Hoffmann, Abby Lee Hoffmann, Tyler Rayburn, Josh Rayburn, and Brittney Rayburn; her siblings, Carlene L. Voss and David (Laura) Sauerwein; her nieces and nephews, Cecelia, Kelsey, Katey, Kenneth, Blair (Jason), and Nathan (Amanda); her great nieces, Jillian, Alexis, and Riley; and many other relatives and friends.
