Shirley was born August 3, 1930 in Chamois, MO to Clarence and Manila V. (Clifton) Streck.
She married Robert A. Schulte on January 16, 1956; he preceded her in death on Octboer 5, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Shirley is survived by her two sons, R. Clifton Schulte (Cynthia) of O’Fallon, IL and R. Clark Schulte of Belleville, IL; her beloved granddaughter, Emily R. Schulte, M.D. (Tony Hall) of Villa Park, IL and two great-granddaughters, Eloise and Madeline.
Throughout her life, Shirley worked as a homemaker, devoted to her loving family. Her granddaughter, Emily, was her pride and joy. She cherished the time spent with those she loved most. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The Schulte family is deeply grateful to the dedicated staff of both St. Paul’s Senior Community and BJC Hospice, whose kindness, professionalism and gentle care brought to comfort Shirley and the entire family over the past several years.
Private interment will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Mausoleum in Belleville, IL.
