Sharon K. Wagner

She was a dog groomer for over 44 years, and a breeder of award winning Poodles, and Doberman’s. Sharon was a former member of the St Louis Dog Breeder’s Association and a lifetime member of Belle City Kennel Club. She also enjoyed fishing.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Shirley, nee Sexton, Biggs; and a grandson, Brandon Murdock.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Wagner of Belleville, IL; daughter, Sarah (Alan) Wagner-Schilling of Sparta, IL; grandchildren, Joshua Wagner, Tara (Brad Higginbotham) Athmer; Catrina Murdock, Michael Murdock; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Susan Shaw, Sandy (Ben) McRae, Sheila (Shawn) Ramage-Knewell; brother-in-law, Lee (Donna) Wagner; sister-in-law, Pam (Ron) Martin; her loving companion, Aseena; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends; and her very best friend, Betty Bittle.

Memorials in Sharon’s name may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society.

Visitation: Friends may call on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 4pm-8pm; and Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 10am-11am at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Parkway West, Belleville, IL 62223.

Funeral: Saturday, February 6, 2016, 11am, at the funeral home, with Pastor Jon Tinge officiating.

Interment will be held in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
