She was born on July 12, 1932 in Spokane, WA. where she grew up. Mary Lou was a spunky youngster and grew up to become a yet just as feisty woman. She loved to laugh and found humor in so many things. The neighborhood kids found her home the fun place to be. Her home was one of the few places with a concrete driveway and a basketball hoop. Mom would let us paint our bedrooms however we wanted and it was so much fun. She knew how to have fun and enjoyed going places and doing things with her family.
One of the greatest accomplishments in her life was surrendering to Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Being married to a military man she looked for family in the neighborhood and a church near her home. She took her children to that church and that is where she found the stability she had always needed. Her children found Jesus there as well. He has been the strength and hope for us our entire lives.
Mary Lou worked for Sears as a Service Technician for 14 years. After her husband Jim passed away in 1987 she went back to school to get certified as a nurses aid. She worked in many nursing homes along with doing volunteer work with Beacon of Belleville and Kids for Christ for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter J. Podbielancik and Dorothy Podbielancik-Williams, her brother, Leo J. Podd, her husband, Kermit “Jim” Siebert, grandson Erin W. Kilcrease and brother-in-law Richard Ficca.

Lasley (Janey), Robena “Beanie” Keck (Terry), grandchildren Billy Rogge (Amy), Keith Keck, Kendra Hammick (Jason), Lindsay Forsythe (Clint), Bethany Kriegel (Karl), nine adorable great grandchildren, and special friend Diane Brink.
