James G. Koenig, 62, born January 4, 1953 in Lakeland, Florida, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Illinois
James was a retired Teacher, he taught 7th grade Science in the Chicago Suburbs. He loved to fish, hunt and was an avid reader. James was an Eagle Scout he was a loving son, brother and uncle.
James was preceded in death by his father, James J. Koenig and a brother, Donald Koenig.
Surviving are his loving mother, Eva May, nee Sprakties, Koenig; siblings Kenneth Koenig and Eva Durham and a nephew, Nicklas Koenig.
