Steven attended Bellaire High School and University of Texas. He was also in the National Guard. He had passion for selling lighting fixtures as he traveled 5 States in the ‘70’s and 80’s.
In 1996, he purchased A & O Lamp Company where he took pride in lighting people’s homes and repairing their lamps and chandeliers. Steven retired in 2020 when his health began to decline.
He leaves behind his brother Ronald Schwartz (Sue) their daughter and son and 2 grandsons. His sister, Teri Schwartz Goldfield (Lennie) their children, Michelle Goldfield (Burton) their son and daughter, Craig Goldfield (Katie) their son and daughter). Along with his Aunt Julie F. Schwartz of Houston, Texas and numerous cousins and friends from all over, California, Colorado, Israel, Texas, Louisiana, New York and Washington DC. A special thank you to all of you who have been so generous and kind.

Steven will be remembered for his sense of humor and his kindness. A graveside service for Steven will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Beth Yeshurun Cemetery, 3502 Allen Pkwy, Houston, TX 77019.
