Peggy Ann Jackson

Peggy Ann Jackson died on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee and grew up in northeast Mississippi and has lived in Houston over 50 years.

Peggy was a lifetime educator who earned her Bachelor of Education degree from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi and her Masters from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.

Peggy was loved and respected by friends and colleagues. She was a lifetime Christian and member of the First United Methodist Church, Houston. Peggy enjoyed seeing the world and collected salt and pepper shakers from everywhere she visited.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ron Jackson. She is survived by her children, Sean Jackson and wife Deborah and Shane Jackson; grandchild, Mackenzie Jackson; sibling, Charles Scruggs and wife, Hollie; nephews, Chris Scruggs and wife, Vanessa, Lane Scruggs; brother-in-law, Tommy Jackson and partner, Nick Haby; sister-in-law, Linda Jackson, and many cousins. Peggy will be dearly missed by family and friends.

A memorial service for Peggy will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM at First Methodist Westchase, 10570 Westpark, Houston, TX 77042.
