Pamela Nicholson, age 68, of Powderly, Lamar County, Texas, passed away on October 3, 2020. She was born in Portales, NM on August 6, 1952 to Lewis Ramsey Smith and June Cameron Smith. She was married to Gary L. Nicholson in Navasota, Texas and they spent thirty-eight (38) years together. Pamela Nicholson had a career in nursing as a pediatric nurse practitioner in the U.S. Air Force and spent the rest of her career as the director of nurses for various nursing homes facilities. She loved painting, arts and crafts, decorating, and all things glittery.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Reid L. Nicholson and Floriece Nicholson; and her sister, Leueen Smith Stutler.
She is survived by: her spouse; her daughter, Patricia L. Nicholson; her sisters, Susan L. Smith, Candice C. Smith, and Aldeen Smith; her brother, Cameron L. Smith; her sisters-in-law, Susan B. Smith, Terry Watkins, and Sandy Nicholson; her brothers-in-law, Lloyd Nicholson, Tony Watkins, and Stanley Nicholson; her nieces, Bailey L. Smith, Julie Shaw, Crystal Nicholson, Amy Bishop and Maria Watkins; her nephews, Bryant L. Smith, Clayton Watkins, Shawn Bishop, and Jerry Shaw; and many precious children born to her nieces and nephews.
