Janice B Whaley

She lived in Houston all her life until moving to Tyler in 2017. Janice married William Lamar Whaley on July 17, 1949, and they were married until he passed away in 2015. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Janice was a charter member of Westbury Baptist Church where she actively served for 50 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Edith Whaley Clifton and husband Gaylon, and Barbara Whaley Taylor and husband Russell; and by her son, William Lamar Whaley, Jr. and wife Kim; 6 grandsons, and 11 great grandchildren.

She will be buried at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be made in her memory to Westbury Baptist Church for youth ministry scholarships.
