Caroline Rose "Cissy" Cook went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 13, 2017 in Bellaire, Texas from bone cancer. Caroline was born in Houston, Texas on February 16, 1934 to parents Carmelo and Lena Cicciarello and grew up in Denver Harbor.
Caroline is survived by her three sons Jack W. Kirk Jr., Timothy R. Kirk Sr., and Larry G. Kirk and wife Kimberly; Grandchildren Jennifer L. Popa, Kristen R. and Marc Pachero, Heather E. Kirk, Brittney and Jared Watkins, Brandon and Lawan Kirk, Jeremiah, Timothy Jr., Caleb, Joshua, Sapphire, Ashley and Amber Kirk; Great Grandchildren Evalyn & Nikololaus Popa, Natalie Pachero, Ayce & Hartley Watkins, Harper and Jameson Kirk; special Sister-in-Law Antoinette Guzzetta and numerous nieces and nephews.
Caroline worked for AT&T as an operator for 45 years retiring in 1999. She was a volunteer for Pioneers painting faces on stuffed animals and miniature Christmas trees. She also stuffed envelopes every month as a volunteer at KHCB 105.7 FM.
Caroline was a faithful attender at Houston's First Baptist Church and took a step of faith her 80th birthday and got baptized by Pastor Larry Lilly. Fearful of putting her head underwater, she did it! Caroline loved her Sunday School Class called "The Promised Land."
And to all those Mom touched, they would compliment that she was a very sweet lady.
