Alison was born October 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas to Kaye and Lloyd Evers. She, along with her brother Greg grew up in Irving and attended Nimitz High School. Alison graduated Summa Cum Laude from Stephen F. Austin University with a BBA in Accounting. Alison had more than 21 years of distinguished service with Stewart Title Guaranty Company holding multiple roles through her career most recently Senior Vice President.
Alison was passionate about cancer research and established a fund, “The Evers Girls Help Beat It” to raise money for that cause. Alison served as a volunteer and board member for Susan G. Komen for the Cure from 1998 to 2010. Her work to that end will no doubt impact families for years to come.
Alison was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith, and held on firmly to her Christian beliefs. She relied on her close relationship with God and actively sought out the prayers of others.
Alison was regarded as an inspiration to all who knew her. Her beauty shone from the inside out; her first and lasting impressions most noted were her radiant smile and exuberant laugh.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarina Alison Evers of Houston Texas, her mother Kaye Driscoll of Houston Texas, her father Lloyd Evers of Honolulu Hawaii her brother and sister-in-law Greg and Rhonda Evers of Aledo Texas, nephew Christopher Evers and his wife Delanie of Fort Worth Texas, nephew Ryan Evers of Fort Worth Texas, and grand-nephew Todd Evers of Fort Worth Texas.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, February 20th, 2016 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 7401 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas, with reception immediately following at the same location.
