I was a close friend of Bill's in the 1970s, I met him at Antioch College where he was a graduate student as well as an administrator.
He eventually got a Master's degree in Media Studies and taught filmmaking at Towson University.  He was a talented teacher, as well as a good friend.  A fond memory  I have is the time he visited my hometown, Chicago where there were a lot of Greek food vendors. He spent a day enthusiastically sampling food from as many as he could find. It was so sad to see this posting. I remember Mr Bill from my younger years at St. Nicholas . He was an amazing person and very wise. He always had a smile on his face that would light up any room. He will be truly missed but not forgotten. May his memory be eternal. 🙏

We were saddened for the Loss of Bill, who we remembered, when we were living on Umbra Street. He was a kind, and pleasant gentleman. I enjoyed our conversations when Chris and I were playing as young boys. Bill was very Wise, and always had good advice to give us. He will be missed. Rest in Peace, Bill.  May your Memory be Eternal.

What a shock. I started going to church at the beginning of Orthros at St. Nicholas. I would see Bill there every Sunday.  After seeing me there consistently for about 4 or 5 weeks he asked me if I wanted to read. It did not take much convincing and since then I have been helping in church every Sunday with some exceptions.

THANKS Bill for getting me involved in the Church. Thanks for being a friend and the advice you have given me. I thoroughly enjoyed the talk you gave about St. Gregory Palama, after all these years I still remember that.

My wife and I are sad to see you go, but you are in good company now. It was such a blessing having you in my life.

Condolences to his family. May his memory be eternal. Bill and I grew up together in Greek Town (highland town) and served together as alter boys at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church under Rev. Father Stavrakis. He will be missed at Saint Mary's.
