On July 8, 2023, Timothy “Timmy” Clark Hayes; devoted father of Paul Hayes and wife Georgeann; step-father of Laura and husband Frederick Strauch; cherished pop-pop of Noah and Cooper Hayes; dear brother of Leonard Hayes (wife Judy) and Patricia (husband Claude Gaskin, deceased); loving uncle to nine nieces and nephews and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews; passed away at the age of 74.
Timmy graduated from Mt. Carmel High School (Essex) in 1967 and proudly enlisted in the US Air Force. After his service in the Air Force, Timmy served in the Army Reserves, at the Baltimore 5th Regiment Armory, while attending Essex Community College. He retired from First Financial Federal Credit Union in 2015. Timmy was an avid baseball fan and loved listening to or watching Baltimore Orioles' games.
Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd., Bel Air MD 21014, on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Church (Fullerton).
