Patricia Matilda Wetzel

A devout Catholic, Patricia belonged to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Aberdeen, MD. Patricia lived most of her life in the Gardenville neighborhood of Baltimore and Parkville, MD. Patricia worked in the medical rehabilitation field. Throughout her life she raised and cared for her family. She was selfless in giving her time to help her family and friends.

Patricia was the sister of Harry Gessner (deceased), Susan Schuchmann (deceased), and Michael Gessner, and his wife, Lindy Gessner.

She was the devoted mother of her son, John Byrne (deceased), daughter, Phyllis Little, and her husband, Cliff Little, daughter, Lori Gorsuch, daughter, Christine Rossilli, and her husband, Caesar Rossilli, grandmother of Ashley Ryckman, Amber Vermillion, and her partner Shanan Plunkett, Tabitha Sommerfeld, and her husband, Paul Sommerfeld, Kierston Gorsuch, Dominic Rossilli, Joseph Rossilli, Melissa Little, great grandmother of Ben Reed, Blake Reed, Mason Wright, Skylar, Maverick Vermillion, Kameron Mitch, Kol Mitch, aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Patricia enjoyed her time with friends and family, playing board games, card games and listening to music, especially her favorite artist, Elvis Presley. She was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan. Some of her most cherished times were spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who loved and adored her.

A receiving of friends will be held for Patricia at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Sunday, November 17, from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Receiving of Friends will be held on Monday, November 18 at 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014. from 10am-10:30am. At which time a Memorial Interment to follow at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
