On August 12, 2012 Mary Ruth Collins (nee Valke) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late John Thomas Collins II, devoted mother of Victor Joseph Wendt, Mary Elizabeth Simson, Wayne Patrick Collins, and Cynthia Ann McCord; loving grandmother of Katie, Kelly, Jessica, Adrian, Timothy, Stephanie, and Stephen; loving great-grandmother of Alex and Morgan. She was a member of Bel Air United Methodist Church, the former director Bel Air Community Churches Clothing Center, a member of the Harford County Senior Center, and she loved her family dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air Inc. 610 W. MacPhail Rd. (at Rt. 24) on Thursday from 10:00AM- 12:00 PM where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Moreland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
