On October 13, 2023, Ret. Lt. "Tom" Earl Thomas Shock passed away at home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Dora Lee Shock (nee Stickles), devoted father of Deanna Shock, Debbie Shock Carr, and Michael Shock; cherished grandfather of Bambi Shock Alcalde (Ontel), Tori Perzan, Brittany Perzan (Tommy), Joel Carr, Chelsea Shock Creaghan (Nick), Noah Carr, Zachary Carr, and Mikey Shock; loving great-grandfather of Gianna, Jaelyn, Izzy, Elian, Daejah, Bentley, Stella, Nevaeh, and Weston. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and many siblings.
Tom retired from the Baltimore County Fire Department as a Lieutenant. He was a veteran in the US Army.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 11AM at Fallston United Methodist Church.. Interment will follow at Highview Memorial Gardens.
