On August 15, 2023 Diane Naparstek (nee Chaney) passed away at home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Marty Naparstek; devoted mother of Craig Naparstek and his wife April; cherished grandmother of Elysse Naparstek; loving daughter of the late Albert and Thelma Chaney; dear sister of June Chaney Carr (Jimmy), Albert Chaney, Jr. (the late Maryellen), Jack Chaney (Linda), Elaine Delen, and the late William Chaney; she is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Diane retired from the Maryland State Department of Education after 48 years. She loved her family dearly, and also loved and enjoyed interior design and shopping.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd. on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 12PM. Interment will follow at Highview Memorial Gardens.
