Barbara H. Weathers

Barbara Helen (Worley) Weathers 90, passed away May 7, 2017. She was born in Alexandria, IN to the late Marvin and Mabel Worley. Barbara graduated from high school in 1944 in Alexandria, IN. She worked 2 years for Kroger Co. in Alexandria before attending the St. Vincent’s School of Nursing from 1946-49. As a registered nurse she worked 24 years at the St. Vincent’s delivery and labor room, later she served as an occupational nurse for PR Mallory and Co. for 22 years Barbara was preceded in death by her husband William Mack Weathers; sister Jean Shirk; step son Mack William Winters; and grandson Greg Winters. She is survived by her sister Ann Clock ; grandson Eric Winters; great granddaughter Abigail Winters; 3 nieces, 5 nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and Tippy a Welsh terrier. Visitation will be held Wednesday May 10th from 4:00-8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 11th at 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
