Thomas A. McNeish Sr.

Tom was a graduate of Concord College and received his master’s degree from West Virginia University. He taught for 35 years in Raleigh County, beginning at Stoco Jr. High and retiring from Woodrow Wilson High School.

In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia “Patty” McNeish; daughter, Mary McNeish Smith; sisters, Isabel McNeish, Agnes Ward and Mary Heilman; brothers, Robert Jr., William and James.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Thomas McNeish, Jr. and companion, Teresa Weidensall of Beckley; daughters, Patricia Darlington and husband, Larry of Beckley, and Rebecca Charlton of Daniels; grandsons, Christopher Charlton of Cincinnati, Ryan Smith of Charleston, step-granddaughter, Karen Darlington Aldridge and family of Spring Hill, TN; son-in-law, Thomas D. Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in sympathy to Hospice of Southern West Virginia.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
