Born January 4, 1935 in Epperley, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Glade Z. and Dina Martin Sparks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifford P. Sanger and son-in-law, Dave Barton.
She was a devoted mom, mamaw and great-mamaw who loved her family more than anything.
Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Barton of Beckley, and Tammy Harper and husband Dave of Summersville; grandchildren, Brandi Swager and husband Jason of Mt. Lookout, Brianne Solomon and husband Ammed of Culloden, and Chase Barton and wife Ashley of Prosperity. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Walker and Raegan Swager and Cole Solomon.
Services will be conducted at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 1pm. Friends may gather with the family from 11-1pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
