Sharon Humphrey

Sharon Kay Humphrey, age 68, of Daniels, WV, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30th, 2022 at CAMC surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 18, 1953 in Sophia, WV; she was the daughter of the late Jack and Barbara Branham.

Mrs. Humphrey was a Secretary for Westmoreland Coal Company in the Health and Safety Department in Tams, WV. She was a faithful member and longtime choir director of Glen Morgan Missionary Baptist Church.

Her hobbies included singing, going to church, attending Ladies' Circle, quilting, doing puzzles, talking with friends and family on the phone and doting over her daughters and grandson. She was a kind and selfless woman, putting everyone’s needs before her own.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Gary Humphrey; daughters, Alisha Hines and husband, Justin of Woods Harbour, Nova Scotia, Stacey Smith and husband, Brandon of Charleston, WV; siblings, John Branham and wife, MaryAnn of Parkersburg, WV and Ruth Ann Branham of Pittsburgh, PA; her pride and joy – grandson, Felix Smith; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Sharon Kay Humphrey will be held Saturday June 4th, 2022 at 2 P.M. with Pastor Moye officiating. Following the services, Sharon will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.

Friends may gather with the family from 12 P.M. until time of the service Saturday.
