Sandra Sears

On December 18, 2022, Sandra Ella Sears gained her heavenly reward at the age of 76. Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a proud Christian and served the Glen White Church of God as the church clerk for 28 years, she also enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. She loved the church and considered the congregation to be part of her extended family.

Born April 13, 1946 in Pemberton, WV to the late Frazer and Arlena Meador, she was also preceded in death by her brother Dane Meador and sisters Wanda Martin Howard and Freida Wilson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 59 years, Russell Sears, daughter Rene Sears Bailey (Richard) of Glen White, WV, son Eddie Sears (Teena) of China Grove, NC, grandsons; Joshua Deweese, Brian Turberville, Seth Tuberville (Emily), granddaughters; Alisha Austin (Christian), Cassidy Sears, and Paige Palmer (Grayson) and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her niece, Melony Lester and her family for the support shown to the family. The family would also like to thank Hospice for every kindness shown to Sandy.

Services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 1 PM with Bishop Jess Farley and Pastor Vernon Sears at Glen White Church of God. The family will receive visitors from 12 PM until the time of the service. Close family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of Southern West Virginia in her name.
