Russell Ray Shrewsbury, 73, of Herndon, WV passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at his home following a long illness. He was born April 14, 1949 in Egeria, WV to the late Austin Shrewsbury and Effie Mills Shrewsbury.
Russell enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his furry friend, Peanut.
In addition to his parents’ three brothers, Jack, James, Ceberd; and sister, Goldie Abner, precede him in death.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 50 years, Debra Mills Shrewsbury; three sisters, Gracie Foley of Beckley, Caroline Johnson of Huntley, IL, and Ethel Gibson of Maben, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 1:00pm. Friends may gather with the family from 12:00pm – 1:00 pm.
Burial will follow at Private Family Cemetery in Herndon, WV.
