Reba "Sis" Jean Williams Harris

Reba “Sis” Jean Williams Harris, of Artie, was born on March 20, 1937 in Artie, West Virginia to the late Jiles Valley Williams and Lula Jane Stover. She went peacefully to be with her Lord and her loving husband on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at her home at the age of 84.

In addition to her parents, the late Jiles Valley and Lula Jane Stover Williams, “Sis” was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James “Duck” Harris; her sisters, Mabel, Sybil, Sylvia and Joann; and her brothers, Oran, Don and Olen.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Kevin (Brenda) Harris of Dorothy, WV, Rodger (Michelle) Harris of Estill, SC, Foy "Mack" Meador Jr. of Davisburg, MI, David Meador of Floyd, VA, Glen Meador of Springfield, GA, Blaine (Teresa) Meador of Dorothy, WV and Sharon (Mark) Ramsey of Clear Creek, WV; her 15 grandchildren; her 23 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Sarah and Maxie; and many extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Reba was a 1954 graduate of Clear Fork High School. She loved relaxing on her front porch with her family and friends. Her true love and passion in life were her family and her faith in the Lord. She was a strong woman who was always giving to her family and will be forever remembered as a loving and caring wife, mom, grandma and friend.
