Ralph Ward

Ralph was a 20+ year coal miner who enjoyed spending time with his family and making as many memories as possible with his grandchildren. When he wasn’t with his family he enjoyed hunting, cutting grass, riding golf carts, and spending time with his Dog, Ruth.

Those who preceded Ralph in death include his parents, his son, Christopher Michael Ward, and brothers, Ricky, Ronnie, and Skip.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 50 years, Janet Ward, son, Shawn Ward, daughters; Christina Daniels and Lori “Chick” White and husband Paul, brother, Donnie Ward and wife Wilma, sister Sharon Chaio and husband Chuck, sister-in-law, Brenda Britt and husband Jim, grandkids; Andy “Bones” Daniels and wife Kasey, Alex “Big Al” Daniels and wife Jesse, Adam “A.D.” Daniels and wife Madison, Trista White, and Brooklyn “Brookie” White, great-grandkids; Kieran, Heidi, Margo, and June Daniels, a special dog, Ruth and several nieces and nephews.

Ralph will have a gathering of friends and family on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 12Pm-2PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Graveside Rites with military honors will be held immediately afterwards at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Butch Acord officiating. Blue Ridge Funeral Home, 5251 Robert C. Byrd Drive of Beckley, WV is honored to be serving the Ward family.
