Born November 29, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Hobart and Tyna Hite Jones. Patty was a lifelong resident of Sophia and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arveral E. Deck; her sons, James “Jimmy” and Roger; grandson, Jeremy; great grandson Hunter; siblings, Jimmy, Bobby Jean, Jane Ann, Harold, Billy, Loraine McKinney-Riddle, Ray and Barbara Jones-Cox.
Those left to cherish Patty’s kind and loving memory include her brother, Donald and wife, Beverly of Concord, NC; nephews, Michael “Mike” McKinney and James “Jaimie” Jones; nieces, Mary Walker, Belinda Nethercutt, Beth Winebrenner and Lori Slone; daughter-in- law, Melissa “Missy” Deck-Ward; several great nephews and nieces; and a host of friends.
Family graveside services will be held Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park with Mason Hannah officiating.
